Hello!
Today I'm sharing a set of four cards created with the March 2014 Studio AE Stamp Set, "Wow" by Ali Edwards.
The March stamp set is perfect for creating cards! I used four of the boxed handwritten greetings and all three of the small hand drawn border stamps on this set of four cards today.
I stamped the images on Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder.
For the pretty watercolor backgrounds, I used Distress Inks pressed onto the Ranger Craft Sheet and spritzed them with water from the Mini Mister to make watercolors. Then I pressed the embossed design into the watercolors and gently moved it around to completely cover the sheet. The embossed areas resist the ink and give the backgrounds a fabulous colorful look!
I love how the ink pooled inside some of the embossed areas. Simple, yet so pretty.
(Distress Ink colors used: Peacock Feathers, Shabby Shutters & Mowed Lawn)
