Hello again and happy Friday!
Kerri Bradford has been showcasing her Hello There Class all week on her BLOG.
Yesterday I shared the first three cards I created using class lessons from Hello There and today I'm sharing the last two!
If you ever wanted to take a KBS class the time is NOW!

Today's card share features creating a "pop up" word inside a card. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to make a graduation card (it is almost May after all....how did that happen?).
Kerri's class example shows creating the word "thanks" inside a card and following her instructions I easily created my own substituting the word "thanks" for "graduation". Easy peasy.
Now, it did take a bit more effort to get everything folded the right way and to get the inside pop up situated inside of the outer card layer (white card). I also wanted to note that originally I tried creating the pop up with navy cardstock and it was just a bit too thick to fold nicely for all the intricate things going on here. I switched to some Echo Park two sided patterned paper I was much happier with the results!
I added a little stamping inside the card as well using a sentiment from the SSS Sketchy Banners Stamp Set.
For the front of my card I used the "congrats" Freebie included with the Hello There Class and cut it from both SSS Lipstick Red and SSS Black cardstock and layered the red on the black to create a dramatic greeting. I die cut a graduation cap from Kerri's Graduation Kit and popped it up over the "O" using foam adhesive.
I stamped the rest of my sentiment using the SSS You 3x4 Stamp Set in SSS Lipstick Red and SSS Soft Navy Inks. I added the stamped border from the SSS Absolutely Delightful Stamp Set and the "fireworks" and stars from the SSS Cupcake Party.

On Thursday, Kerri featured this Hello Flip Card and envelope I made using her flip card class lesson from her Hello There Class.
I switched out the "gee thanks" Kerri used in her class sample for the scripty "hello" freebie from the class and added additional die cut florals (also freebies from the class) and a stamped sentiment below the die cut word. I created an "inlay" with the die cut greeting by die cutting it from both the SSS Smoke Cardstock circle and from the SSS Doll Pink cardstock. Then I simple placed the pink word inside the gray circle on the SSS Fog Cardstock flip card.
I used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker over the florals and added some white detail to the flower centers with the Sakura White Opaque Marker. The stamped greeting is from the SSS Tilted Banner Stamp Set stamped with SSS Slate Ink.
Here's a look at the flipper in motion...
... and then the inside of the card. The back of that circle flip is the perfect place to handwrite a greeting.
That tone on tone "texture" is a background die cut design from Kerri's Background Basics Kit. I sized it to "fit" the card, used a circle to "cut away" the portion I didn't need (for the flip) and cut it out and adhered it to the card. It looks difficult but it was really easy. I added "dots" to the center of the floral designs using the SSS Fog Ink (same color as the cardstock) with the SSS Lots of Dots Stamp Set.
I used Kerri's class lesson to create a matching envelope and stamped it up with SSS Smoke Ink using the SSS Envelope Sentiments Stamp Set.
