I'm so excited to be sharing a couple of fun Easter ideas here, on the Lawn Fawn Blog or Lawn Fawn's YouTube Channel featuring Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and paper and May Arts ribbons!
The die cut basket and carrots are designs from the Silhouette Online Store (Basket: Design ID #40413 and Carrots: Design ID #40409). I cut the basket from white cardstock and threaded the May Arts sheer white ribbon with yellow polka dots through the fun cut out handle, tying it into a bow on one side. I added some store bought green grass inside the basket. I die cut the carrots from 12x12 Lawn Fawn patterned papers (LF Let's Polka, LF Hello Sunshine, LF Into the Woods and even LF Peace Joy Love). I wanted a mix of orange patterns and green patterns for the carrots.
The die cut treat bags are from the Silhouette Online Store (Adorable Box: Design ID #6244). I used 12x12 papers from the Let's Polka Collection in aqua, yellow and pink.
I stamped the large tag from Birthday Tags onto vellum usng Versamark and embossed with white powder. I die cut the tags using the Tag You're It coordinating dies. I die cut another tag from the coordinating Let's Polka 6x6 small polka dot paper pad to layer behind. I die cut the hole reinforcement from the 6x6 striped paper and secured it on top of the vellum tag.
I stamped the "Happy Easter" from Happy Everything onto the vellum tag using Versamark and embossed with white powder.
To create the grass border along the bottom of the tag, I first die cut the green polka dot paper using the Grassy Border Die. Then I die cut the grass border twice using the Tag You're It large tag, one taller than the other. The taller grassy border I adhered to the polka dot tag and the shorter one to the vellum tag. This gives a nice layered grass background.
I stamped the bunny from Silly Valentine onto Neenah White Cardstock and the carrots from Hoppy Halloween. I colored all the images in with Prismacolor colored pencils, blended with Gamsol and fussy cut all images. I added some Marvy Snow Marker to the bunny tails and used a heat gun to make it puff up. Fun dimension especially for cute little bunnies!
I stapled ribbon to the front flap of the treat bag and threaded another ribbon through the tag and knotted it. I slid the tag ribbon on the ribbon on the bag glap and then secured the wider ribbon by tying it into a knot.
