I *heart* that this kit is geared for the boys and men in our lives! Great masculine colors, designs and stamps! Love.
I used lots of stamps from the May 2014 Card Kit (as well as cardstock and patterned papers from the kit) for my card today.
I stamped and embossed the word "dude" from the All Boy Stamp Set on the navy cardstock, then I used the SSS Stars & Dots Stencil with the Ranger Mini Round Inking Tool and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink to create the tone on tone background.
I colored in the shoes from the All Boy Stamp Set with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, blending them with Gamsol.
I finished the inside of the card with an additional stamped greeting and stamped stars from the All Boy Stamp Set.
I am a huge fan of the exclusive SSS cardstocks and inks! They are amazing quality and come in a rainbow of amazing colors. Click HERE for the complete selection. Today, Simon has rolled out their newest additions to the collection: Daybreak. I love all the colors but I am especially partial to the 3 amazing new grays! They are must-haves! After all, gray is the "new" black, right? ;)
Projects created with cardstock and ink from the SSS Daybreak Collection:
- Big Hugs For You Card (feat. SSS stamps, cardstock, inks)
- "Hello" Flip Card (feat. KBS Hello There Class examples)
- "Hope Your Day is Awesome" Flower card (feat. KBS Hello There Class examples)
- "Dream" Card (feat. LF Dream Stamp Set and dies & LF Scallop Stitched Border Dies)
