June Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday

Hello and welcome to the June 2014 Studio AE Blog Hop!

This month the Studio AE Design Team is showcasing projects created with Pure Magic by Ali Edwards, the Studio AE stamp set for June.

 

I used one of the phrase text box stamps in the set to create a repeating text background for my card using Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Ink, SSS Audrey Blue Ink, SSS Island Blue Ink and SSS Fog Ink.

I die cut some butterflies from both white cardstock and vellum using the SSS Butterflies Die and then stamped one of the coordinating butterfly designs from the SSS Butterfly Friends Stamp Set on the cardstock die cut using Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Ink. I looped some white silk ribbon and stapled it to the center of the butterflies and then sewed a Studio Calico button to the center to hide the staple.

A scattering of sequins complete the card.
