I'm so excited to be sharing a brand new 2-page layout today showcasing two of my very favorite companies, Kerri Bradford Studio and Simple Stories!
I love layouts that tell a story over a period of time, like an entire vacation or event all on a single layout spread. In this case I created a 2-page layout showcasing favorite photos from an entire month. I love how Kerri's photo templates make it so easy to add lots of photos to a page yet keeps the design clean and simple. (I used templates from Kerri's brand new Photo Montage Kit and her Photo Strips #1 Kit.) My layout has a total of thirty-one photos!!!
With so many photos/photo templates on my page I went with a white on white cardstock background (I used one of Kerri's Background Basics designs die cut from a 12x12 sheet and layered over another white sheet of cardstock for subtle texture).
I made the title big and bold, die cutting it and layering it with lots of great bright papers from the Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine Simple Basics and DIY 6x6 Paper Pad. I combined the sunshine from Kerri's Enjoy the Sunshine Kit with the title from This & That Summertime. The date is from The Dailies Month Add On Kit and Decade Kit. I matted all the die cuts on solid black cardstock cuts for a "shadow" and completed the title collage with a grouping of stickers from the Good Day Sunshine Sticker Sheet.
To give my layout interest, I embellished with lots of little "bits and pieces" from the Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine and DIY sticker and chipboard sheets. The journaling is printed on a sheet of Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine ledger paper and tucked under the edge of one of the photo templates.
To give interest to the photo collages I added stickers from the DIY Sticker Boutique Collection, Good Day Sunshine Chipboard Stickers and Good Day Sunshine Sticker Sheet. I die cut tabs from the Good Day Sunshine Insta-Squares using Kerri's Simplicities Best Thing Ever Kit and stapled them to each photo collage, adding sticker phrases to complete them.
