Happy Friday! The Mama Elephant Design Team is highlighting the brand new My Sunshine Stamp Set. This aweseom stamp set featuring a fun sunshine background and lots of great sun-shiney greetings! I combined the My Sunshine Stamp Set with the cute kiddos and critters from the new In My Heart Stamp Set for my card today.
I stamped the fantastic sunburst from the My Sunshine Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Hero Arts Soft Vanilla Ink. I wanted a really soft yellow sunshine background and the Soft Vanilla Ink was the perfect choice. I stamped one of the greetings from the stamp set over the background using MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I cut out the background, leaving about a 1/4" white border all the way around for an instant mat.
I stamped the cute kids and critters from the In My Heart Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloring them in with Copic Markers. (I've individually listed and linked the markers I used below in the supplies list.) I die cut all the colored images with the coordinating In My Heart Creative Cuts dies.
To create the "grass" for these kids, I die cut Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf Cardstock using the Landscape Trio dies and layered them at the bottom of the sunburst background.
I adhered the die cut images creating a sweet "scene".
I thought my scene needed some clouds and a heart so I stamped the stitched border cloud from the Sunny Skies Stamp Set on vellum using Versamark Ink and embossed the images with white embossing powder and die cut them with the brand new coordinating Sunny Skies Creative Cuts dies. I also stamped the heart from the Sunny Skies Stamp Set using SSS Lipstick Red Ink and cut it out with the coordinating Sunny Skies Creative Cuts die. I adhered the stamped vellum clouds using the Zig 2-Way Glue Pen.
I die cut the green plaid paper from the Doodlebug Kraft In Color 6x6 Paper Pad using the stitched rectangle Femme Frames Creative Cuts die. I loved the pop of color but didn't want it to overpower my card so I die cut a piece of vellum using the scalloped rectangle Femme Frames Creative Cuts die and layered it over the green plaid. The I popped up the focal point of the card using my favorite foam adhesive.
