Welcome to the Lawn Fawn Sneak Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing several more new stamp sets and die sets that will be available in August!
Today's card share showcases the new Finley's ABC's Lawn Cuts Dies and the adorabe Winter Penguin Stamp Set. I threw in a couple of images from the new Critters in the Arctic Stamp Set as well!
I die cut a rectangle from some smooth white cardstock using the LF Stitched Rectangles Dies and stamped the ice from the Critters in the Arctic Stamp Set on the die cut piece using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I lightly colored in the image with Copic Markers.
I die cut the letters for the word "holidays" (except for the letter "o") from several colors of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock using the new Finley's ABC's Lawn Cuts Dies and from SSS Slate Gray Cardstock. I adhered the letters to the die cut stitched rectangle as shown, layering the colorful alphabet on top of the gray ones as shown to create a shadowed dimensional look.
I applied a thin layer of Glossy Accents over the "ice" and added glitter detail to the die cut letters with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker.
I stamped the adorable penguin from the Winter Penguin Stamp Set on the card between the "h" and "l" and again on another sheet of smooth white cardstock. I also stamped the stocking cap from the Critters In the Arctic Stamp Set and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual colors I used are listed and linked below in the supplies). I fussy cut both images and adhered them to the card as shown.
I added additional detailing to the scarf and hat with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker and Glossy Accents to thte beak to complete the penguin.
I finished the stamped design by stamping the snowflakes in coordinating ink colors and the word "happy" with SSS Slate Ink.
