Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Carnival Cupcakes

Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Carnival Cupcakes Stamp Set and coordinating Carnival Cupcakes Creative Cuts dies. I think cupcakes are some of the cutest stamped images out there and customizeable cupcakes? Even better!

I combined the images from the Carnival Cupcakes Stamp Set with the Carnival Toppers Stamp Set (even more incredible options for customizing your cupcakes) and the Sentimental Borders Stamp Set for a great text background. I love how this trio of bright cupcakes pops off the neutral grays in the background!

I stamped the images from the Carnival Cupcakes Stamp Set and Carnival Toppers Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the designs using Copic Markers (the individual colors I used are listed and linked below in the supplies). I stamped the solid image party hats with Hero Arts Soft Yellow Ink, Hero Arts Bubblegum Ink and SSS Audrey Blue Ink. I stamped teh bottom of the cupcakes with SSS Island Blue Ink, SSS Audrey Blue Ink and SSS Sea Glass Ink. Then I die cut all the images using the coordinating Carnival Cupcakes Creative Cuts dies and Carnival Toppers Creative Cuts dies.

I added "colored sugar" to the tops of my cupcakes with Tim Holtz Distress Glitters in Tumbled Glass, Rock Candy and Spun Sugar. I used Ranger Matte Medium to adhere the glitters.

For the background of my card I die cut SSS Slate Cardstock using the ME Femme Frames Creative Cuts stitched rectangle die. I stamped one of the ME Sentimental Borders stamps at a diagonal using Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink. I repeated the design over the entire piece. I die cut some vellum using the scalloped rectangle die and adhered the stamped background to the vellum piece.

I die cut a banner from vellum using the ME Bold Banner Creative Cuts die and stamped the greeting from the Carnival Toppers Stamp Set using Versamark Ink. I heat set the image with white embossing powder.

I adhered all the pieces to the card front as shown using some of my favorite foam adhesive under some of the pieces for dimension. I finished the card with a scattering of glittery confetti cut from glitter paper using the ME Confetti Creative Cuts die.
