Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week | Joy To The Woods (video)

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Joy To The Woods Stamp Set and coordinating Joy To The Woods Lawn Cuts dies. For my card, I combined Joy To The Woods with the Stitched Hillside Borders Lawn Cuts dies and the Large Stitched Rectangle dies to create a forest scene shaker card.

I die cut the background of my card from a Snow Day 6x6 patterned paper using the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle die. Then I die cut white cardstock with the same die (for the snow drifts) and die cut both the A2 and second largest Large Stitched Rectangle dies to create a frame for the front of my card. I also cut out a piece of transparecny to use behind the frame opening and a piece of vellum using that same A2 die. With the solid white die cut rectangle I die cut two snow drifts using the Stitched Hillside Borders Lawn Cuts dies.

I stamped the trees, fox, cardinal, birdhouse, holly and tree stump from the Joy To The Woods Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies). I die cut all the colored images with the coordinating Joy To The Woods Lawn Cuts dies.

The layers of the cards are as follows:

1. Die cut rectangle from patterned paper
2. Stamped, colored and die cut trees
3. Die cut snow drift
4. Vellum die cut rectangle
5. Stamped, colored and die cut trees and other images
6. The second die cut snow drift
7. Sequins
8. Die cut frame, backed with die cut acetate and adhered with two layers of foam adhesive

I stamped a greeting and snowflakes from Winter In The Park with Versamark on the vellum layer and embossed the images with gold and white embossing powder.
