Happy Wednesday! The Lawn Fawn is teaming up with Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko all week to bring you fun projects showcasing both company's products. I love these weeks as they always challenge me to use a product that is new to me or reminds me to use a product I might already have and not use near enough!
Today I have an elegant white and gold holiday card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Let It Snow Stamp Set, Small Stitched Rectangles Dies and Stitched Hillside Borders Dies paired with my favorite Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink, Wedding Dress Irresistible Pico Embellisher, Gold Shimmer Spritz and Versamark Ink.
I love taking stamps/products from a whimsical and fun stamp company and making an "elegant" card with them. I die cut two of the largest stitched rectangle from white cardstock using the Small Stitched Rectangles Dies. On one of the rectangles I traced a Stitched Hillside Borders Die line with a pencil as a guide for my stamping.
I took the large and small solid tree stamps from the Let It Snow Stamp Set and using first and second generation stamping, stamped the trees along my penci line with the Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink. I used the falling snow and stars stamp from the Let It Snow Stamp Set and stamped the "sky" using the Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink. I spritzed the scene with the Gold Shimmer Spritz (this is more of a clear mist with gold sparkle/shimmer rather than a gold sparkly mist making it a nice way to add additional "sparkle" but not a lot of color, if that makes sense.).
I used the Wedding Dress Irresistible Pico Embellisher to cover up the gold snow drops and make them white and to add "snow" detail to the first generation stamped trees! I love this embellisher ink/tool!
***The Wedding Dress Irresistible Pico Embellisher was a "new to me" product that I've completely fallen in love with. The precision is amazing and I totally will be buying a few more of these to have on hand!
I die cut the second white stitched rectangle and also a die cut vellum rectangle using a Stitched Hillside Borders Die. I stamped the greeting, snow and stars from the Let It Snow Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and embossed with white and gold embossing powders. I stamped the imperfect dotted line under the greeting using a stamp from the Deck the Halls Stamp Set and embossed it with gold powder.
I adhered the background panel to my card base with foam adhesive and adhered the snowy border on top of the background with foam adhesive to complete my card.
