I'm thrilled to share one of the cards I've created with the December Kit. The focus of the kit is embossing, one of my all-time favorite stamping techniques. Ranger created the mini Distress Ink Embossing Cube just for this kit! I absolutely adore those mini cubes... so fun!
I die cut the SSS Slate Cardstock, Bazzill Silver Metallic Cardstock, and vellum included in the kit using the SSS Frames This Is The Life Craft Dies and SSS Confetti Circle Craft Die (exclusives to Simon Says Stamp).
I temporarily adhered the die cut panel over the vellum so I could line up the stamp from the Sparkle and Shine Stamp Set. I stamped the greeting with the Distress Emboss Ink included in the kit and heat embossed the image with the Ranger Platinum Embossing Powder, also from the kit!
I adhered all the die cut and stamped and embossed layers to my card base (created with the white cardstock included in the December Kit) and embellished the card with the sequins from the December 2014 Card Kit as well as my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear 4mm sequins and Pretty Pink Posh Silver Star Sequins.
