I love snowmen. Snowmen ornaments, snowmen figurines and especially snowmen stamps. Hero Arts has a great snowman stamp, Frosty Wishes, that coordinates with their Snowman Frame Cuts. I loved the Hero Arts Snowman #2 Repositionable Stamp Set and Die that came out a year or two ago and was thrilled that the dies from that set worked with the Frosty Wishes set. I even used the holly from the Snowman #2 set with the design below.
I die cut some SSS Black Cardstock and white cardstock using the stitched rectangle from the Bundle of Stitches Die Collection. I die cut a snowy border using one of the Stitched Slopes and Hills dies.
I added the two-tone greeting by using the rock 'n roll technique with the ME Fresh Mint and ME Stargazer Inks with the Winnie & Walter Big Bold Seasons Stamp Set. I stamped the rest of the greeting with ME Dark Storm Ink using the words from the Winnie & Walter Big Bold Seasons Stamp Set and Winnie & Walter The Big The Bold and The Happy Stamp Set.
I stamped the snowflakes on the black background with Avery Elle Pure White Pigment Ink using the stamp from the Winnie & Walter Big Bold Seasons Stamp Set. I adorned the middle of the snowflakes with tiny, tiny clear gemstones.
I stamped the snowman and accessories using elements from Frosty Wishes and Snowman #2. I colored in the holly, nose and adding shading to the snowman with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in the supplies). I die cut the pieces using the Snowman Frame Cuts and Snowman #2 dies.
I assembled the card, adding foam adhesive behind the the snow, snowman and hat to pop them up from the snowy background.
