Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Surprise Sentiments Stamp Set. This is a fabulous greeting stamp set that coordinates perfectly with the Tiny Heroes stamp set as well as any of your other Mama Elephant stamps!
My favorite greeting from this sentiment set? "It's OK to shake me". Perfect for all those shaker cards we're making, right?!!!!
To create this shaker card, I die cut the SSS Doll Pink Cardstock using two of the Sew Fancy Creative Cuts dies to make the "frame" for my shaker. I die cut a circle from SSS Cotton Candy cardstock to use on the inside and die cut two more circles from white cardstock and vellum. I die cut the white and vellum circles using the "clouds" Landscape Borders Creative Cuts die and adhered the clouds to the SSS Cotton Candy circle.
I stamped the greetings from the Surprise Sentiments Stamp Set on the front of my shaker frame using Versamark Ink. I embossed the greetings with SSS Fine Detail White embossing powder.
I stamped the images from the Tiny Heroes stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below the thumbnails below in supplies). I die cut the images with the coordinating Tiny Heroes Creative Cuts dies and adhered them to the card as shown.
I die cut the stitched frame from vellum using the Sew Fancy Creative Cuts and adhered it behind the front frame. I applied two layers of foam tape, filled the shaker with cardstock die cut stars made using the Lots of Stars Creative Cuts die and some Pretty Pink Posh silver star sequins. I adhered the card base to the shaker to complete the design.
