For my card today, I created a Valentine's themed card with a more masculine feel, simply by limiting my color palette to black/white/gold. This card still has that love feel but isn't flowers and pinks and reds. I love thinking outside the box and I know my guy would appreciate this style of card more that a "girly" looking one! ha!
I die cut the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss patterned paper from the kit using the largest of the Stitched Rectangles dies. I adhered the patterned paper to a white card base.
Next, I die cut the large heart from the watercolor paper in the kit using the Thank You Heart die and the smaller hearts using the Heart Trio die. I stamped greetings from the Paper Hugs Stamp Set on each using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with the Clear Embossing Powder included in the kit. I used the Metallic Gold Gelato included in the kit over the stamped and embossed greetings, rubbing it into the paper with my fingers to smooth out the color. The embossed areas resist the stamping, leaving me with these pretty gold heart valentines!
I adhered the largest heart with foam adhesive and then added a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold 4mm sequins to my card to finish the design.
