Today I thought I'd share another new card created with the amazing Winter 2015 Essentials by Ellen Release. I'm loving all the beautiful floral stamps and dies in the release (I'm tired of this cold weather and ready for Spring!).
I used the new Bold Blossoms dies, Bold Blooms dies and Love You So Stamp Set to create this layered florals card.
To create my card, I die cut the Bold Blossoms dies and Bold Blooms dies from smooth white cardstock. I colored the florals with Mustard Seed Distress Ink, Scattered Straw Distress Ink and Wild Honey Distress Ink. I colored the leaves with Crushed Olive Distress Ink and Forest Moss Distress Ink. I added some sparkle to the Bold Blossoms dies with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and adhered the dies on the solid Bold Blooms die cuts.
I stamped the greeting from the Love You So Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I applied some water over the greeting using a wide paintbrush and then added a color wash with watered down Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I flicked watered down Wild Honey Distress Ink over the design and allowed the watercolored background to air dry before trimming the background and adhering to my card base with foam adhesive.
I finished my card with a scattering of Doodlebug Bumblebee Mini Pearls.
