Hello, and welcome to the Winter 2015 Essentials by Ellen Release Hop!
I love Julie Ebersole's style and I'm thrilled to be sharing a couple of cards today with her newest designs for the Essentials by Ellen collection at Ellen Hutson!
For my first card, I created some watercolored blooms using the Bold Blooms Stamp Set and matching Bold Blooms dies plus the new Fancy Thanks Stamp Set for a beautiful thank you card.
To create my card I stamped the florals and leaves from the Bold Blooms Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I colored in the florals and leaves with watercolors created with Distress Inks + water. I let the images air dry before die cutting with the matching Bold Blooms dies.
For the background, I applied Spun Sugar Distress Ink over the Tim Holtz Bubbles Stencil with the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I stamped the greeting from the Fancy Thanks Stamp Set using LF Black Licorice Ink.
I adhered the florals to the bottom of the inked panel, trimming the excess and re-using some of the leftover pieces. I adhered the panel to the card base with foam adhesive and finished the card with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

For my second card share today, I combined the new Diagonal Window Die, Fancy Thanks Stamp Set, Wish Big Stamp Set and a Folk Hearts Die for this fun interactive card.
I die cut the front panel from an Avery Elle Everyday Collection 6x6 paper using the Diagonal Window Die. I love double sided paper for this die. Both designs will show once the window is opened! I set the window aside and stamped the "inside window elements" using the Wish Big Stamp Set and Fancy Thanks Stamp Set. I colored in the Wish Big images using Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked with thumbnails below in supplies).
I adhered the Diagonal Window die cut over the stamped and colored panel using foam adhesive.
I die cut a vellum tag using a Mama Elephant Slim Tags Trio die and stamped a greeting from the Fancy Thanks Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
I stamped the largest heart from the Fancy Thanks Stamp Set on white cardstock using Mama Elephant Fresh Mint Pigment Ink and die cut the image with the smallest Folk Hearts die. I adhered the heart to the top panel of the Diagonal Window using a glue dot. I wrapped ribbon through the left side of the vellum tag and wrapped it around the panel, securing it through the right side and tying it in a bow. Then I adhered the panel to a white card base. I finished the card with a couple of enamel dots.
