Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Freestyle Florals Stamp Set and coordinating Freestyle Florals Creative Cuts dies. I created a watercolored floral border for this simple and colorful thank you card.
To create my card I stamped the greetings from the new Bear Hugs Stamp Set on a white card base using the Dark Storm Pigment Ink.
I stamped the florals and leaves from the Freestyle Florals Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Versamark Ink and embossed the images with white embossing powder. I painted the images with Distress Inks + water for a lovely watercolored look, then I let the images dry before die cutting them with the coordinating Freestyle Florals Creative Cuts dies. I adhred the florals to the bottom edge and sides of the card to "frame up" the greeting.
