Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Three Amigos (video)

Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Three Amigos Stamp Set and coordinating Three Amigos Creative Cuts dies. I used all three amigos and customized the paper each is holding with different sentiments from the stamp set! I love how easy it is to create so many different types of cards just by switching out the greetings!

To create my card, I stamped the critters from the Three Amigos Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock and stamped greetings on each of the paper the critters are holding to create the sentiment. I colored the images in with Prismacolor colored pencils. I used Gamsol and a stump pencil to blend and smooth the pencil lines. I die cut the images with the coordinating Three Amigos Creative Cuts dies.

For the background, I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the card base using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I die cut a landscape using one of the Borderlines Trio Creative Cuts dies and applied Mowed Lawn Distress ink to the border. I adhered the border along the bottom edge of the card with foam adhesive.

I die cut the skyline from SSS Slate Cardstock using the Cityscape Creative Cuts die and tucked it behind the landscape. I die cut the sunshine from smooth white cardstock using the Stitched Sky Creative Cuts die and applied Scattered Straw Distress Ink using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I tucked the sunshine behind the cityscape and die cut thought bubbles and hearts using the Instalove Creative Cuts dies and Polaroid Fun Creative Cuts dies and adhered them to my card. I applied a layer of Glossy Accents to the hearts.

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn February 2015 Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Baked With Love Stamp Set and coordinating Baked With Love Lawn Cuts dies. I created a collage of stamped and colored baking images on a white on white background with a simple stamped greeting. I love how the white on white keeps the focus on the sweet baking images!

To create my card I stamped the images from the Baked With Love Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies) and die cut the images with the coordinating Baked With Love Lawn Cuts dies.

I die cut a square from white cardstock using a Small Stitched Square Lawn Cuts die and adhered the die cut Baked With Love Stamp Set images on the square. I adhered some of the images with foam adhesive for dimension.

I stamped a greeting from the Baked With Love Stamp Set on the card base using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink and added stamped hearts on the square above the baking images and one next to the greeting using the MFT Wild Cherry Hybrid Ink.

I adhered the square to the card base with foam adhesive and rounded the corners of the card with an 1/2" corner rounder.

Lawn Fawn | Flirty Frames (video)

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn February 2015 Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Flirty Frames Stamp Set and coordinating Flirty Frames Lawn Cuts dies. I combined the frames with some of my favorite critter images from the Year Two Stamp Set and Year Four Stamp Set to create a birthday card of fun-filled flirty frames!

 

To create my card I stamped four of the frames from the Flirty Frames Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the images again on masking paper (when needed) to mask off the frame. I stamped the images from the Year Two Stamp Set and Year Four Stamp Set inside the frames and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies).

I stamped additional images from the Year Four Stamp Set and colored them in, then I die cut all the elements with the coordinating Flirty Frames Lawn Cuts dies and Year Four Lawn Cuts dies.

I die cut a piece of vellum using a Large Stitched Rectangle Lawn Cuts die and a piece of Mon Amie 6x6 patterned paper using a Small Stitched Rectangle Lawn Cuts die. I layered the vellum on top of the patterned paper and adhered the frames and die cut images on top of the vellum. I adhered the rectangle to my card base using foam adhesive.

For my card share today I combined the racoon from the brand new Three Amigos Stamp Set with a bird from the Love Quotes Stamp Set and balloons from the Party Kit Stamp Set. The Sew Fancy Creative Cuts die makes the perfect decorative edged mat for this simple birthday card!

To create my card I stamped the raccoon from the Three Amigos Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I added a custom greeting using words from the Three Amigos Stamp Set. I stamped the bird from the Love Quotes Stamp Set and colored in both images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies). I die cut the images with the coordinating Three Amigos Creative Cuts dies and Love Quotes Creative Cuts dies and added additional detailing with white and black gel pens.

I stamped the balloons in Lemongrass Pigment Ink, Fresh Mint Pigment Ink and Tutti Frutti Pigment Ink using the Party Kit Stamp Set. I die cut the images with the coordinating Party Kit Creative Cuts dies.

I die cut some white cardstock using the Sew Fancy Creative Cuts die and colored in a bit of scenery with Copic Markers to help "ground" my critters. I adhered the critters and balloons and drew in balloon strings with a black pen.

I incorporated new Mon Amie 6x6 patterned paper and Pint Sized Patterns 6x6 patterned paper into my card design by die cutting the elements for the background with a Large Stitched Rectangle die, Stitched Hillside Borders die and the Grassy Borders die.

 

To create my card I stamped the easter basket, bunny, tulips and eggs from the Eggstra Special Easter Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Neenah Smooth White Cardstock. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies) and die cut the images with the coordinating Eggstra Special Easter Lawn Cuts dies.

I die cut the sky background from a Pint Sized Patterns 6x6 patterned paper using a Large Stitched Rectangle die (the largest A2 sized die). I die cut the border and grass from the Mon Amie 6x6 patterned paper using the same Large Stitched Rectangle die. From the rectangle I die cut 2 grass borders using the Grassy Borders die and 1 border using a Stitched Hillside Borders die. I adhered the stitched hillside border to the background and adhered the first grassy border with foam adhesive. I layered the other grassy border on top. 

I stamped the greeting from he Eggstra Special Easter Stamp Set using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink.

I adhered the die cut images to the background design to create the sweet Easter scene. I applied some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the eggs and bows for a bit of subtle sparkle. I glued a googly eye to the bunny and finished the card with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Lawn Fawn | Candy Box & Stitched Labels Dies (video)

Happy Valentine's Day and Welcome to another day of the February Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the brand new Candy Box Lawn Cuts die and Stitched Labels Lawn Cuts dies. I added pink colored robots from the Beep Boop Birthday Stamp Set, valentines greetings and my favorite Sweetheart Lawn Trimmings twine to complete these sweet Valentine's candy boxes!

To create these candy boxes I die cut 4 Candy Box Lawn Cuts die from some pink Mon Amie 12x12 patterned paper. (You can get 3 complete candy boxes from 1 sheet of 12x12 patterned paper!) I reinforced the score lines with a Teflon Bone Folder and applied a strong adhesive to the tabs, securing 2 panels together to create 1 candy box. To secure the ends, I wrapped the Sweetheart Lawn Trimmings twine around each end and tied it in a bow. Be sure to add candy or a small treat inside before securing the ends.

I die cut 2 labels from white cardstock using the Stitched Labels Lawn Cuts dies and added custom valentines greetings by combining greetings from Beep Boop Birthday Stamp Set and Happy Everything Stamp Set using the new Lawn Fawn Hippo Ink and Lawn Fawn Wild Rose Ink. 

I stamped the robots from Beep Boop Birthday Stamp Set on white cardstock and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies) and die cut the images with the coordinating Beep Boop Birthday dies.

Lawn Fawn | Gleeful Gardens (video)

Welcome to the February Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Gleeful Gardens Stamp Set and coordinating Gleeful Gardens Lawn Cuts dies. I created a 4.25" square card showcasing the stamps and dies as well as the Stitched Hillside Borders dies, new Stitched Square dies, and new Picket Fence die. I love how all the elements work together to create this sweet scene card!

To create my card I die cut Simon Says Stamp Surf Blue Cardstock, SSS Apple Green Cardstock and SSS Green Leaf Cardstock using the 4" Stitched Square die. I die cut two "grass" borders using the Stitched Hillside Borders dies and adhered them to the blue die cut square.

I die cut the fence from white cardstock using the Picket Fence die and adhered it along the bottom of the square, trimming as necessary.

I stamped the images from the Gleeful Gardens Stamp Set and colored them in with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below). I die cut the images with the Gleeful Gardens Lawn Cuts dies and adhered them to the card. I stamped the greeting along the top of the design with black ink.

I finished the design with the Pretty Pink Posh Small Silly Eyes.

Lawn Fawn | Valentine's Goodie Bags (video)

Today I'm over on the Lawn Fawn Blog with a video featuring these cute Valentines Goodie Bags. I dressed up the tops of each of the bags with a scalloped border and colored the animals in shades of pink to match the goodie bags. Wouldn't these make adorable treat bags for school parties? 

To create these bags, I die cut Schoolhouse Red Cardstock using the Goodie Bag die and then cut the bag again from Cotton Candy Cardstock. From the pink cardstock goodie bag I used the largest Stitched Scalloped Borders die to create a contrasting topper for each bag. I glued the scalloped top in place on each of the bag pieces using a strong adhesive.

Before assembling each goodie bag, I stamped greetings from the Whale You Be Mine Stamp Set, Love You Tons Stamp Set, and Hedgehugs Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white fine detail embossing powder. 

I assembled each of the goodie bags and set them aside to work on the tags.

I die cut the smaller Tags A Lot tag from a gray polka dot patterned paper and stamped the coordinating tag design from the Thank You Tags STamp Set on vellum using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white fine detail embossing powder. I die cut the vellum tags using the same Tags A Lot tag die and layered the vellum tag on top of the patterned paper one. I die cut the hole reinforcement from Schoolhouse Red Cardstock using the Tags A Lot die collection and glued it in place.

I stamped the critters from the Whale You Be Mine Stamp Set, Love You Tons Stamp Set, and Hedgehugs Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them in with Copic Markers (the individual colors are listed and linked below in supplies). I die the images using the coordinating Whale You Be Mine dies, Love You Tons dies and Hedgehugs dies. 

I adhered the critters and accents on the vellum tags and tied each of the layered tags to the goodie bags using the Sweetheart Lawn Trimmings twine.
