Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Hop To It Release Blog Hop!
Whether you're in the mood for beautiful florals, sweet spring images, inspiring work out images and phrases or Easter greetings, Simon Says Stamp has you covered! I absolutely love this release. It makes me long for warmer weather and spring!
To create my card I stamped the girl, hat and bunny from the Abby's Spring Showers Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual markers are linked with thumbnails below in supplies).
I stamped the rain puddle from Abby's Spring Showers Stamp Set with SSS Sea Glass Dye Ink and die cut all the images with the coordinating Spring Showers Dies.
I die cut a frame for my card from SSS Ivory Cardstock using two of the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I die cut a piece of SSS Surf Blue Cardstock and SSS Green Apple Cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I used the Stitched Slopes and Hills Dies with the SSS Green Apple Cardstock rectangle to create a landscape.
I applied white embossing paste with the new Raindrops Stencil to the SSS Surf Blue Cardstock rectangle to create the rainy background. Once the embossing paste dried, I stamped the greeting from the Abby's Spring Showers Stamp Set with SSS Black Dye Ink and the greeting "hugs" from Hand Lettered Encouragement Stamp Set using SSS Audrey Blue Dye Ink.
I assembled all the elements and adhered it all to an SSS Ivory Cardstock card base.
To see how I put this sweet springtime card together from start to finish, watch out the video below or view on youtube HERE:
