For my card today, I created an inlay design using Simon Says Stamp exclusive dies with the patterned papers from the March 2015 Card Kit.
To create this inlay background, I die cut the light gray cardstock included in the kit with the Mod Circle Frame Die and adhered it to a card base made from the same color of cardstock. I die cut several of the patterned papers included with the kit using the same die and pieced together the background, creating a fun patterned inlay effect.
I die cut three hearts from the black cardstock included in the kit using the Sketch Heart Die and glued them one on top of another. I die cut a banner using a MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags Die and stamped a greeting from the Flowers On My Mind Stamp Set, included in the kit, using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with Platinum Embossing Powder. I adhered the greeting and heart to the card and finished the design with small yellow hearts die cut with the Mini Hearts Die and a scattering of pearl gemstones.
