Lawn Fawn | Scripty Hugs Set of Cards (video)

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Scripty Hugs Die, Stitched Scallop Cupcake Wrapper, and Grassy Cupcake Wrapper. 

I created a set of 5 "Thinking Of You" and "Get Well Soon" cards using the new Scripty Hugs Die paired with the Pint Sized Patterns Beachside 6x6 Paper, Penelope's Blossoms Stamp Set and Sophie's Sentiments Stamp Set. I used the MISTI Stamping Tool to quickly and easily mass-produce these cards. I'm in love with this awesome stamping tool!!!

To create the bases for my cards, I die cut white cardstock using the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle Die and trimmed it down 2 7/8". I die cut the Pint Sized Patterns Beachside 6x6 Paper using the same die and trimmed them down to 1 1/2". I adhered the patterned paper strip to a white card base. I trimmed several strips from the multi-stripe paper to 5 1/2" long by 1/2" wide.

I die cut three Scripty Hugs Die for each card. I took 5 of the "Hugs" and applied Distress Ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I used ink colors that coordinated with the solid striped paper I used at the bottom of each card.

Using the MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped the florals from the Penelope's Blossoms Stamp Set  using the Freshly Cut Grass, Sunflower, Fake Tan and Mermaid Dye Inks. The MISTI makes it super easy to mass-produce cards and get perfect placement every single time.

I used the MISTI Stamping Tool to position and stamp the greetings from the Sophie's Sentiments Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Inks to compliment the patterned paper at the bottom of the card.

I adhered the multi-stripe paper to the back of the stamped panel and adhered the stamped piece to the card base with foam adhesive.

I adhered 3 Scripty Hugs Dies one on top of another, finishing with the Distress Inked "Hugs" to finish the greeting. I applied Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the florals to complete the card.
