This is the inspiration photo so think green, good luck, St. Pattys Day, etc.
I love my Pretty Pink Posh sequins and weather I use a lot (shaker cards) or only a scattering, I think they finish off a card with just that right bit of sparkly embellishment. And the fact that they are low-profile and not bulky is another plus in my book! Instead of going with the St. Patty's theme (because I don't really send cards for that holiday) I decided to create a fun spring/outdoors themed card (and yes, I threw in some green "grass" because I didn't want to get pinched for forgetting some "green"...) because spring cannot come soon enough! I am ready to be outdoors enjoying warmer temperatures. I even added a "good luck" stamped sentiment inside the card to make it fit the inspiration theme a bit more... the inspiration doesn't always have to come from the design itself, sometimes the words or greetings you use work for the design you want to create.
To create my card, I die cut SSS Green Leaf Cardstock, SSS Surf Blue Cardstock and SSS Smoke Cardstock using the largest SSS Stitched Rectangles Die. From the gray rectangle, I die cut a landscape using a PPP Stitched Borders 2 Die and from the green cardstock I die cut a grass border using the LF Grassy Border Die. I adhered both along the bottom edge of the blue rectangle.
I stamped the Hero Arts Dog House Stamp, Hero Arts Dog Bone Stamp and SSS You Are Pawesome dog stamp on smooth white cardstock. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies) and die cut the images with the coordinating Hero Arts Dog House Frame Cuts Die, Hero Arts Toys Frame Cuts Die, and SSS Cat and Dog Pawesome dog die.
I assembled the die cut images on the stitched rectangle and stamped the greetings from the SSS You Are Pawesome dog stamp set on the dog house and blue background using SSS Black Ink. I die cut clouds using the SSS Chevron Clouds Dies and adhered them to the scene.
I finished the card front with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins in Sparkling Clear, Aquamarine and Cobalt.
