Welcome to the Lawn Fawn April Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the Best Pun Ever Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I combined these with the stitched rectangle dies to create a simple framed accent card.
To create the frame, I die cut Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock and Black Cardstock using the Large Stitched Rectangle Dies and Small Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped the "#1" from the Best Pun Ever Stamp Set on the outer frame using Lawn Fawn Hippo Ink for a subtle tone-on-tone look.
I stamped the greeting from the Best Pun Ever Stamp Set on the inner gray rectangle using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
I stamped the fan from the Best Pun Ever Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the image with Copic Markers. I added the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the "moving" part of the fan (the blue area) and applied Glossy Accents to the fan base and blades.
I adhered the fan above the stamped and embossed greeting, adhered the small gray rectangle to the card base and adhered the frames around the center with foam adhesive.
