Welcome to the April Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Wheelie Like You Mini Stamp Set, coordinating Wheelie Like You Dies, and the Gingham Backdrops Stamp Set. I combined these with a Small Stitched Square Stackable Die, a Large Stitched Circle Stackable Die and Small Stitched Circle Stackables Die for a cute square shaker card!
To create the frame for the shaker, I die cut SSS Sea Glass Cardstock using a Small Stitched Square Stackable Die and Small Stitched Circle Stackables Die. I used the MISTI Stamping Tool to perfectly line up and stamp a Gingham Backdrops pattern on the frame using LF Mermaid Ink.
I die cut another square from white cardstock and a transparency using the same Small Stitched Square Stackable Die. I die cut a circle frame from white cardstock using a Large Stitched Circle Stackable Die and Small Stitched Circle Stackables Die and I die cut a circle for the inside of the shaker from SSS Fog Cardstock.
I stamped the critters and the wheel from the Wheelie Like You Mini Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored in the images with Copic Markers, and die cut the stamped designs with the coordinating Wheelie Like You Dies.
I stamped the greeting from the Wheelie Like You Mini Stamp Set on vellum using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder, the heart and embossed with rouge embossing powder, and the thought bubble from the A Birdie Told Me Stamp Set with white embossing powder. I die cut the greeting bubble using the coordinating A Birdie Told Me Dies.
To put the shaker together, I adhered the SSS Fog Cardstock circle to the white square, using the frame to line it up. I adhered a critter and the wheel to the circle. I adhered the transparency to the back of the frame, the white circle frame to the front of the square frame and the other critter under the edge of the circle on the front of the frame. I glued the greeting on the front of the frame as well. I adhered foam adhesive around all four sides on the back of the shaker frame and filled the shaker with seed beads and PPP Red Heart Confetti. I placed the back of the shaker to the frame and adhered the whole thing to a 4.25" square card base.
