ON TREND | Elephants (Avery Elle Ellie Shaker Card video)

If you're like me you're loving all the cute critter stamps popping up from all our favorite stamp manufacturers. One animal, in particular, seems to be showing up everywhere and that is the elephant. I am loving all the adorable elephants that my favorite stamp companies are coming out with and can't get enough! Below my card share today I've shared links to my other recent elephant cards and projects as well as shopping links to some of my favorite elephant stamps and/or dies.

I created a shaker card today with the adorable elephant from the Avery Elle Ellie Stamp Set. I paired it with the Hero Arts Stamp & Cuts Hello for a magical "in the clouds" greeting scene.

To create the shaker card, I die cut the frame from smooth white cardstock using the two largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Dies. From the inside white rectangle, I die cut a cloud border using the scallop border from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 Dies. I die cut another rectangle from vellum and die cut a second cloud border using the scallop border from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 Dies. I die cut the starry sky from Avery Elle Everyday 6x6 Paper using the second largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Dies. I die cut a large stitched rectangle from white cardstock for the back of the shaker and transparency for the clear window.

I adhered the starry sky to the shaker backer rectangle and attached the vellum cloud to the star paper. I adhered the frame to the transparency and adhered the white cloud border to the front of the transparency.

I stamped the greeting from the Hero Arts Stamp & Cuts Hello to the transparency using white StazOn Ink. I die cut the Hero Arts Stamp & Cuts Hello "Hello" from silver glitter paper and glued it to the transparency.

I stamped the elephant, star balloon, bunny, grass, and snail from the Avery Elle Ellie Stamp Set and colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies). I die cut the images with the coordinating Avery Elle Ellie Dies and attached them to the front of the shaker.

I applied foam tape to the back of the frame and filled the shaker with silver Pretty Pink Posh Star Confetti and Sparkling Clear Beads, removed the backing paper and adhered the shaker backer to the shaker to complete the design.
