Simon Says Stamp Falling For You Blog Hop | "Welcome Baby" Card (video)

This is a mega hop today with lots of stops and lots of inspiration!

I created a baby themed card using the new Baby Party Animals Stamp Set, Party Animals Dies, Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp, and Falling Stars Background Stamp from the new release. I colored the gift packages and banners in pink for a baby girl but this same card design would be so easy to replicate in blues for a baby boy card as well!

I stamped the kitty, banner and gift packages from the Baby Party Animals Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are listed and linked below in supplies) then die cut them with the coordinating Party Animals Dies.

I die cut a frame from SSS Fog Cardstock using the two largest Stitched Rectangle Dies. I die cut SSS Smoke Cardstock using the second largest rectangle die. From the SSS Fog Cardstock rectangle (from the frame) I die cut a sloping landscape using the Stitched Slopes and Hills Dies. I stamped the frame with Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp using the SSS Fog Ink. I stamped the solid rectangle with the new Falling Stars Background Stamp using SSS White Pigment Ink.

I finished the greeting by stamping "baby" from the Baby Party Animals Stamp Set on the sloping landscape using SSS Fog Ink.
