LAWN FAWN Fintastic Friends | "Best Fishes" Card (video)

Some of my favorite images to color are fish and Lawn Fawn has a fin-tastic new stamp set to share with you today! The Design Team is showcasing the new Fintastic Friends Stamp Set and coordinating Fintastic Friends dies as well as five all new ink colors to add to the ten original Lawn Fawn Ink Collection!

The fish bowl, fish, fish food, and seaweed from the Fintastic Friends Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below in supplies), then die cut with the coordinating Fintastic Friends dies. Once die cut, I thought it would be fun to create a water scene with the fish bowl and food floating and fill the water with additional stamped and die cut fish.

The water scene was created by die cutting several shades of Simon Says Stamp cardstock and vellum with one of the new Stitched Oval dies and then die cutting the ovals with a new Ocean Wave Borders die. The frame was created by combining the same Stitched Oval die with the largest rectangle die from the Small Stitched Rectangle die collection. I cut four of these and stacked them one on top of another on a white card base, filled in the center with the light blue cardstock oval, ocean borders and tucked the fish into the waves and under the vellum "water".

A banner from the Bannerific Stamp Set stamped with Black Licorice Ink and a greeting from the Fintastic Friends Stamp Set stamped with Peacock Ink, then die cut with the coordinating Bannerific die complete the card design.

The Lawn Fawn Dye Inks are not only available in incredible colors but stamp so clean and smooth! I'm loving that there are now five more amazing colors to add to the Lawn Fawn Ink family! That Lobster red is a true red (I am picky about my reds and this is a really, REALLY good red!) and the Peacock and Fish Tank Inks are gorgeous blues (I love blue inks!). I love that there is now a great purple in Juice Box and that we can stamp 2-tone leaves and grass and such with the addition of Celery!
