Welcome to another day of the Lawn Fawn May Inspiration and Release Week!
Today the Design Team is showcasing the brand new Happy Wedding Stamp Set and coordinating Happy Wedding dies. I combined the new stamps and dies with the new Stitched Ovals dies to created a framed up wedding scene complete with a stamped and embossed die cut banner greeting from the Bannerific Stamp Set.
The card base is SSS Fog Cardstock with 1/2" rounded corners using the Corner Chomper.
To create the oval matted frames, I die cut SSS Cream Cardstock multiple times using three of the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval Dies. I adhered the center oval to the center of the gray cardstock base and adhered the two "frames" around the center oval. Then I stacked four frames on the middle stitched oval, one right on top of another and stacked six frames on the outer oval. The effect gives subtle dimension while drawing your eye into the center of the card design.
The birdie bride and grooom and cake are from the new Happy Wedding Stamp Set, stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Happy Wedding Dies and adhered to the center of the oval frame design.
The little solid hearts from Happy Wedding were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder above the bride and groom.
One of the banner designs from the Bannerific Stamp Set, stamped on vellum with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder adds an elegant touch to the card, especially when finished with a gold embossed stamped greeting from the Happy Wedding Stamp Set. The banner is die cut with a coordinating Bannerific Die.
