Welcome to the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Owen's ABC's Stamp Set, Owen's ABC's Dies, Large Stitched Oval Stackable Dies, and Small Stitched Oval Stackable Dies.
The scene was created with images from the Life Is Good Stamp Set, framed up with the Large Stitched Oval Stackable Dies and Small Stitched Oval Stackable Dies and I changed out one of the words in a greeting phrase from the Life Is Good Stamp Set with the Owen's ABC's Stamp Set to highlight the word "you" and to add a punch of color to the top of the card scene.
The images from the Life Is Good Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers and die cut with the coordinating Life Is Good dies. I did partial die cutting with the crab and hammock to give the images the illusion of being a single image.
The background of the scene was die cut using a Small Stitched Oval Stackable Die. The sand border from the Life Is Good Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge and colored in with Copic Markers.
I partially stamped a greeting from the Life Is Good Stamp Set using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink. For the word "you" in the greeting, I used the Owen's ABC's Stamp Set inked with the Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink, Sunflower Ink and Fish Tank Ink.
Once the greeting was stamped, I added blue sky with hand drawn clouds with Copic Markers then I stamped seagulls from the Life Is Good Stamp Set using the Lawn Fawn Hippo Ink.
I created a "frame" for the scene by die cutting some woodgrain paper using a Large Stitched Rectangle Die and a Small Stitched Oval Stackable Die. I matted the scene with a black frame die cut using both a Large Stitched Oval Stackable Die and Small Stitched Oval Stackable Die.
