I hope you've been enjoying the Lawn Fawn May Inspiration & Release Week so far! Today the Design Team is showcasing the new Rainbow Die and Puffy Cloud Borders dies.
I combined these new dies with some simple stamped and embossed stars and greeting from the Lucky Stars Stamp Set for a magical rainbow design sure to make someone smile!
To create the layers needed to build the rainbow and clouds design, I used the largest Stitched Rectangle die to die cut SSS Surf Blue Cardstock, smooth white cardstock and vellum. I die cut the white and vellum cloud borders using the Puffy Clouds Borders dies and layered them along the bottom edge of the die cut blue rectangle.
The rainbow is die cut from SSS Schoolhouse Red Cardstock, SSS Orange Peel Cardstock, SSS Sunshine Cardstock, SSS Green Leaf Cardstock, SSS Audrey Blue Cardstock, SSS Island Blue Cardstock, and SSS Blue Violet Cardstock.
I carefully tucked the ends of the rainbow between and under the cloud layers and secured with adhesive, then added a layer of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker for some sparkle and shine.
The greeting and stars are from the Lucky Stars Stamp Set, stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with several colors to coordinate with the rest of the card.
