Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Chance of Rain Card

Last week, I shared a card for the Mama Elephant Stampede Blog Hop showcasing the new Chance of Rain Stamp Set and coordinating Chance of Rain dies. I watercolored the images with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and adhered them to a tag and then a card. Click HERE to see that design. Today I have another card featuring the Chance of Rain Stamps and this time I created an almost one-layer card used Copic Markers to color in these sweet images!

The images from the Chance of Rain Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in the supplies and the marker numbers are shown in the upper left corner in the how to video tutorial. 

A greeting from the Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped below the scene and I added a heart stamped in ME Apricot Pigment Ink to the end for a touch of color.

The raindrops from the Chance of Rain Stamp Set were stamped with the ME Moonlight Pigment Ink and "puddles" were colored around the children's feet using Cool Gray Copic Markers.

A strip of wide black and white washi tape was adhered along the bottom of the panel and the entire panel is adhered to a white card base using foam adhesive.

• I've had several requests and questions regarding the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Whether I recommend the sets or buying them individually and to provide a list of my favorite marker colors. I chose to purchase mine individually so that I could pick and choose the colors I wanted however the sets are a great option, if you are wanting to try the markers out and don't want the hassle of choosing. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong. The markers are fantastic! Also, you do not need all the colors (unless you want to, of course!). Lots of the colors can be watered down which changes the color, combining a couple of colors of markers together, changes it to a third color. Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Charmed Card

Today's Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight features the brand new Charmed Stamp Set and coordinating Charmed Creative Cuts dies. I paired these sweet images with the awesome window die from the Peek A Frame Creative Cuts Collection and large tag from the Tags A Lot Creative Cuts Die Collection, hanging the wreath on the "window" overlooking the city skyline creative with both the Cityscape Creative Cuts die and the Central Park skyline.

The images and greeting from the Charmed Stamp Set were stamped on watercolor cardstock using Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and colored in the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The individual markers are linked below in supplies and shown in the upper left corner in the how to video tutorial. Once the ink dried, the images were die cut with the coordinating Charmed Creative Cuts Dies.

The window to the city was created by combining the Peek A Frame window die with the large tag from the Tags A Lot Die Collection and die cut from smooth white cardstock. The Cityscape Die was used to die cut SSS Slate Cardstock. Another large tag was die cut from SSS Fog Cardstock and the cityscape from the Central Park Stamp Set was stamped on the tag using ME Smoke Pigment Ink. The moon from the Central Park Stamp Set was stamped with ME Buttercup Pigment Ink.

The die cut cityscape was adhered below the stamped skyline and the window tag was adhered to the background with foam adhesive. The Charmed images were adhered to the "window" and the card was finished with a hole reinforcement and some pretty Lawn Trimming twine.

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Sunday Sentiments (set of 5 cards)

I always love a good set of notecards and the new Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set from Mama Elephant is the perfect greeting stamp set to mix and match to create fabulous custom greeting card sets. I added some stamped and colored images from the new Sunday Stroll Stamp Set and a striped border from the Boutique Borders Stamp Set to complete these simple thank you cards.

The Avery Elle Folded Cards from the Sugar Collection, Lucky Collection, and Citrus Collection make the perfect card bases for these simple thank you's! 

The MISTI Stamping Tool made stamping both the striped border from the Boutique Borders Stamp Set and the greeting border from the Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set so super easy! They stamp in the same place each and every time.

The girl and dog images from the Sunday Stroll Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in the supplies.

Once the images were colored in, I die cut all five girls and dogs with the coordinating Sunday Stroll Creative Cuts dies and adhered them to the front of the cards.

The inside of each card is stamped with an additional phrase from the Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set and the cards are finished by rounding all four corners with the 1/2" corner chomper.

Lawn Fawn | F-ANT-ASTIC FATHER'S DAY CARD

I am a big fan of mixing and matching stamps from several stamp sets on my stamped greeting cards and today's card combines cute images from the Lawn Fawn Let's BBQ Stamp Set, Happy Summer Stamp Set and Make Lemonade Stamp Set as well as a custom stamped greeting created using the Milo's ABC's Stamp Set.

This card's greeting starts on the front and finishes on the inside of the card!

I'm so happy that two of my favorite mini Lawn Fawn stamp sets now have coordinating dies: Happy Summer Dies and Make Lemonade Dies. Those ants from the Happy Summer Stamp Set are just too fun!

The images from the Lawn Fawn Let's BBQ Stamp Set, Happy Summer Stamp Set and Make Lemonade Stamp Set were stamped on watercolor cardstock using Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The individual marker colors are listed below in the supplies and shown in the upper left corner of the screen in the how to video tutorial. Once the ink dried, the images were die cut using the coordinating Let's BBQ Dies, Happy Summer Dies and Make Lemonade Dies.

The background and frame for the scene were die cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Dies and Stitched Hillside Border Dies.

I stamped the custom greeting, highlighting the word "ant" within the word "fantastic" using the Milo's ABC's Stamp Set stamped with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice and Lobster Inks.

I continued the stamping and greeting on the inside of the card. That little ant and ant trail complete the design I think!

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Sunday Stroll Card

Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Sunday Stroll Stamp Set and coordinating Sunday Stroll Creative Cuts dies. I combined watercolored images from this adorable set with die cut watercolored borders created with the Grassy Trio Borders Dies and stamped greetings from the Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set for this sweet scene card.

The images from the Sunday Stroll Stamp Set were stamped on watercolor cardstock with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and watercolored with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The individual markers are linked below and shown in the upper left corner of the screen in the video tutorial for easy reference. Once the ink dried I die cut the images with the coordinating Sunday Stroll Creative Cuts dies.

The grassy borders were die cut from watercolor cardstock using the Grassy Trio Borders Dies and watercolored with a combination of Twisted Citron Distress Ink and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. The background was created with a watered down wash of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

Once the background and borders were dry I stamped a couple of greetings from the Sunday Sentiments Stamp Set and assembled the scene on a white card base. I finished the card by rounding all four corners with a 1/2" corner rounder.

Simon Says Stamp July 2015 Card Kit | "Sail Away With Me" Card + Giveaway

For my first card share this month I created a sailboat shaker card! I just love the Sailboat Die included in the July kit, don't you?!!!! Their is a great assortment of small print patterned papers in the kit, that work perfectly with this die.

To create the shaker, I die cut the Cream Cardstock in the kit using the two largest Stitched Rectangles Dies for the shaker frame. The backing and the transparency were die cut with the largest rectangle die. 

For the inside "scene", I die cut the seagull patterned paper and blue cardstock using the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die. From the blue rectangle, I die cut waves using the Stitched Slopes & Hills Borders Dies.

The sailboats were die cut from both patterned papers and cardstock included in the kit using the Sailboat Die.

I stamped clouds from the Sailing Stamp Set on vellum using white StazOn Ink, then I fussy cut them and adhered them to the sky background.

I adhered the waves along the bottom of the inside scene and adhered the sailboats by tucking them under the waves and securing with liquid adhesive.

I stamped the greeting from the Sailing Stamp Set on the transparency using white StazOn Ink. I stamped the heart from the set on the inside of the shaker with Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink and applied a layer of Glossy Accents on top.

The transparency is adhered to the back of the frame and I adhered two layers of foam adhesive all the way around. I filled the shaker with Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow and Sparkling Clear Seed Beads and secured the back of the shaker to the front before adhering to the navy card base.

Mama Elephant June 2015 Stampede Blog Hop + Giveaway + True Stamp Individual Class Sale

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

 

Today I've got a card showcasing the brand new Chance of Rain Stamp Set and coordinating Chance of Rain Creative Cuts dies.

 

 

The images from the Chance of Rain stamp set were stamped on watercolor cardstock with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink and colored in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (individual marker colors linked below and shown in the video), then die cut with the coordinating Chance of Rain Creative Cuts dies.

 

The tag was die cut from watercolor cardstock using a die from the Tags A Lot Creative Cuts die collection and water was created using a light blue Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker and a greeting from the Chance of Rain Stamp Set was stamped as well. I adhered the die cut images to the tag, added a contrasting color hole reinforcement die cut and threaded through some pretty Lawn Fawn Lawn Trimmings twine.

 

I stamped several of the raindrops from the Chance of Rain Stamp Set on the Avery Elle card base using Simon Says Stamp white pigment ink.
