Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp The Color of Fun Release Blog Hop!
The latest release is chock full of amazing new stamps and dies, 12 new ink colors, even a large pad of grid paper! I used several of the new ink colors with one of my favorite stamp sets from the release, Cone Building Stamp Set and the Festive Chevron Stencil from a past release for a tone on tone textured background.
The tone on tone background created with the Festive Chevron Stencil and white embossing paste adds texture and interest to the white background of the card base.
The images from the Cone Building Stamp Set were stamped with the new Rosie Cheeks Ink, Duckling Ink, Melon Ink, Sunkist Ink, and Spring Rain Ink then die cut with the coordinating Ice Cream Dies. The Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen and a layer of Glossy Accents on the dish adds glitter and shine.
I adhered the die cut images to a rectangle die cut using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The greetings from the Cone Building Stamp Set were stamped using Black Ink then I adhered the rectangle panel to the texture background.
