Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Tandem Ride Stamp Set and coordinating Tandem Ride Dies. I created a biking scene through the mountains with my patterned paper choices for the die cut scenic background.
The background was created by die cutting a tree patterned paper using the large stitched rectangle die from the Peek A Frame Die Collection. The landscapes were die cut from patterned papers using the Landscape Trio Die and then layered and adhered along the bottom edge of the rectangle.
The images from the Tandem Ride Stamp Set were stamped on watercolor cardstock using the Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink and colored in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown in the upper left corner of the screen in the video tutorial.
Once the ink dried on the images, they were die cut with the coordinating Tandem Ride Dies and assembled on the card. The Sakura Black Glaze Pen adds definition to the eyes and/or noses on the critters and once that dried, I added "catchlights" to the larger eyes with the Sakura White Gel Pen.
The thought bubble was cut from smooth white cardstock using a die from the Polaroid Fun Die Collection. The greeting was stamped with black ink from the Friend Indeed Stamp Set.
