Waffle Flower Coloring Fun Blog Hop + Giveaway

   

Welcome to the Waffle Flower Coloring Fun Blog Hop showcasing fun ways to color your waffle flower stamped images and the brand new July Release of Waffle Flower stamps and dies! I love the look of watercoloring but I am not all that great at it. I love that the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers can make anyone look like a watercolor artist! I combined the adorable images from the Tiger & Lily Stamp Set and Hibiscus Stamp Set to create this ocean scene. 

The images from the Tiger & Lily Stamp Set and Hibiscus Stamp Set were stamped on watercolor cardstock and colored in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then die cut with the coordinating Tiger & Lily Dies and Hibiscus Dies. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown in the upper left corner of the how to video for easy reference. 

The card base is from the Avery Elle Caribbean Cards Collection and the waves were die cut from the other colors of cards using the Lawn Fawn Ocean Wave Borders Dies.

The waves were layered along the bottom edge of the notecard and the die cut images were adhered to create the ocean scene.

The greeting was stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder along the top wave border using words/phrases from both the Tiger & Lily Stamp Set and Hibiscus Stamp Set.

Detailing was added to the images with Glossy Accents (on the toucan's eye and the shark's teeth), Sakura Black Gel Pen on the toucan's eye and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen over the sword.
