Happy Saturday!
I got to spend last evening with a good High School friend I haven't seen in ages. It was one of the best nights I've had in awhile and made my heart so very happy. We drank wine and talked and caught each other up on our lives. So thankful she called me out of the blue and invited me out. I needed it and He provided.
I got the kids enrolled for school on Thursday (I can't believe it's time for back to school already.... insert crying) and then we did some back to school shopping for new shoes, athletic shoes (volleyball), clothes and supplies. I took them out for lunch to round out our busy day and it was wonderful. Love spending time with my three awesome kiddos.
The blog was a little quiet this week but that's because I am crazy busy creating cards and projects for the next Mama Elephant release and the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week. Yay!
I'm sharing a few products that I'm loving in my Weekend Shopping Links:
- I finally took the plunge and ordered the super adorable Tim Holtz Bird Crazy Thinlets and Cling Stamps set this past week and can't wait to start playing. Those birds are the cutest and I'm not sure why I was holding out so long.
- What finally pushed me over the edge to purchase the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamps? THIS incredible card by the equally incredible Kristina Werner. Check it out if you haven't already. It's fabulous.
- And of course I needed the coordinating Crazy Things Stamp Set to outfit the crazy birds! Don't forget to pick up the coordinating Crazy Things Die Collection on pre-order.
- To round out all this craziness, I picked up the Crazy Talk Stamp Set too for some awesome greetings to add to all those Bird Crazy cards I'm going to be creating!
- Ellen Hutson released it's holiday collection Monday and celebrated with a blog hop. Click HERE to check out the blog hop and HERE to shop the Holiday Essentials by Ellen release.
- Online Card Classes is having a Flash Sale this weekend and offering $5 off all independent classes! Check it out HERE and pick up a class or two for some amazing card-making inspiration!
Have a great weekend!
