Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit | "I'm Here For You. Anytime." Card + GIVEAWAY

Today I've got another card for you featuring the Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit, Here's Looking At You. I used the stamps from the kit and colored in the heart images with Distress Inks, watercolored the background and stamped and embossed a greeting on some of the black cardstock in the kit and adhered it along the bottom third of the card. Those hearts are super fun to color!

I stamped the large heart from the I See You Stamp Set on watercolor cardstock three times using Versamark  Ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder. I watercolored the images with a paintbrush dipped in water using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink. I added watered down color to the background with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink using a larger paintbrush. I let the background air dry, then I stamped the mini heart from the I See You Stamp Set and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder.

I adhered the background to a white card base. I stamped a greeting from the I See You Stamp Set on some of the black cardstock included in the kit and heat embossed the greeting. I cut it into a thin strip and adhered it to the card as shown.

I finished the card with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Silver sequins.

STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp + Waffle Flower

Today Simon Says Stamp released the awesome limited edition exclusive Waffle Flower How We Roll Stamp and Die Set. I love the look of the Simon Says Stamp Inks layered for these sweet tone-on-tone treats!

To create the candy treats background, I stamped the solid candy image from the Waffle Flower How We Roll Stamp Set on a top fold white card base using SSS Cotton Candy Ink, SSS Duckling Ink, SSS Spring Rain Ink, SSS Jellybean Ink and SSS Melon Ink. I stamped the polka dot or stripe candy image over the solid image using the SSS Hollyhock Ink, SSS Sunshine Ink, SSS Scuba Ink, SSS Lucky Ink, and SSS Sunkist Ink.

I die cut vellum and black cardstock using the label from the SSS Frames Die Collection. I stamped a greeting from the Waffle Flower How We Roll Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered the label to the card base, hiding the adhesive behind the embossed greeting. Then I stacked four black frames one on top of another and adhered the frame around the label.

I finished the card with a scattering of colorful Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp + Altenew

Yesterday Simon Says Stamp released the awesome limited edition exclusive Altenew Layered Flowers Stamp Set. I combined lots of exclusive Simon Inks with the gorgeous florals from this stamp set and a greeting from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins and adhering the die cut rectangle panel to a card base with foam adhesive gives this clean and simple card a bit of dimension!

I die cut smooth white cardstock using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and used post it tape to mask off three sides. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Altenew Layered Flowers Stamp Set using SSS Rosie Cheeks Ink, SSS Teeny Bikini Ink, SSS Hot Lips Ink, SSS Willow Ink, and SSS Green Leaf Ink.

I stamped a greeting from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set using the SSS Black Ink.

I finished with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh 4mm and 6mm Sparkling Clear sequins attached with the Zots Bling Glue Dots.

I finished the card by attaching the stamped panel to a side fold card base using foam adhesive.

STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp + Newton's Nook

STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp is coming to an end but there are still plenty of surprises before the month is over! Today Simon has released the awesome limited edition exclusive Newton's Nook stamp set, Hello Fall. I used a little masking with images from the new stamp set for this sweet fall bunny scene.

I die cut an oval from smooth white cardstock using a Stitched Ovals Die. I stamped several of the images and a greeting from the new Hello Fall Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown on the screen in the how to video tutorial.

I created a frame for the scene by die cutting Chocolate Brown Cardstock with a Stitched Ovals Die and Stitched Rectangle Die. I die cut the frame four times and adhered them one on top of another. I adhered the oval scene and stacked frames to a Khaki Cardstock card base.

I finished the card with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week | Tags & Packaging

September Inspiration Week is over today but I wanted to pop in with a coordinating set of gift tags and Santa Belly packaging. I combined the Santa's Belly Dies, Pillow Box Die, Stitched Circle Tags Dies, Winter Alpaca Stamp Set and coordinating die, Ready Set, Snow Stamp Set and coordinating Dies and Ready Set Snow Shaker Add On Dies to create this set of tags and pillow box.

The santa pillow box would make super quick, easy and cute party favor boxes! I die cut specialty papers and a Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned paper with the Santa's Belly Dies and Pillow Box Die. The addition of the specialty papers adds texture and interest to the gift boxes.

For the shaker tag, I die cut the Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned paper, white flocked cardstock, a transparency and smooth white cardstock for the shaker using the Ready Set Snow Shaker Add On Dies.

I stamped the snowmen and sign from the Ready Set, Snow Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I sandwiched a die cut Stitched Circle Tags Die between the layers to create a "hanger" for the tag/ornament and assembled the shaker, adding Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Marshmallow seed beads.

Lawn Fawn Red Sparkle Twine finishes the shaker tag.

I die cut the largest Stitched Circle Tags Die from Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned paper, smooth white cardstock and white flocked cardstock. I die cut the flocked cardstock using a Stitched Hillside Border Die and adhered it along the bottom of the patterned paper tag.

The alpaca from the Winter Alpaca Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers, then die cut with the coordinating die. I stamped part of the greeting from the stamp set on the patterned paper tag using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink and stamped the rest of the greeting on the flocked paper using the LF Lobster Ink. I stamped "to" and "from" from the Birthday Tags Stamp Set on the smooth white cardstock tag using the Lobster Ink and adhered the tags back to back and finished with some Red Sparkle Twine.

STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp + Suzy's Watercolor Doodles

Simon Says Stamp released some more awesome STAMPtember goodness today with the Suzy's Watercolor Doodles Paintable Prints. The pack includes nineteen prints on Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper. These are so super fun to color. I die cut this one using a Stitched Rectangles Die but these would be just amazing framed up so you can look at them anytime.

I colored in this Suzy's Watercolor Doodles Paintable Print with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The individual marker colors are l inked below in supplies and shown in the upper left corner of the screen in the how to video.

Once the print dried, I die cut the panel with the largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Die. I applied the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen over the umbrella for a bit of shimmer and sparkle, then added white dot detail with the Sakura White Glaze Pen. I applied Glossy Accents to the raindrops for shine and dimension.

I adhered the panel to a Top Fold Scored Card and finished the design with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear 6mm and 4mm sequins.

Lawn Fawn | Baaah Humbug "All I Want For Christmas Is Ewe" Card

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the Baaah Humbug Stamps and coordinating Baaah Humbug Dies. I framed up the sweet Baaah Humbug images with my favorite Large Stitched Ovals Dies and Small Stitched Ovals Dies. The Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned papers made the perfect subtle tone on tone background behind the sheep and the framed up scene.

 I stamped the sheep, hat, bow, and greetings from the Baaah Humbug Stamp Set and the banner from the Penelope's Blossoms Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I stamped the greenery with LF Noble Fir Ink and die cut the images with the coordinating Baaah Humbug Dies and Penelope's Blossoms Dies.

I used the Large Stitched Ovals Dies and Small Stitched Ovals Dies to die cut the background and frames for the scene from the Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned papers and Black Cardstock.

The background was die cut from another tone on tone Let's Bokeh In The Snow 6x6 patterned paper and adhered to a side fold scored card.

The card was finished with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.

STAMPtember Simon Says Stamp + Clearly Besotted

How about some more Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember goodness today? Clearly Besotted has joined up with Simon Says Stamp for the new Holiday Banners Stamp Set. A simple ink smooshing background with the gold embossed stamped banner makes a simple, but elegant design.

I filmed a video and accidentally deleted everything but the embossing. (insert unhappy face) So....no video for this card. Sorry! For more information on ink smooshing, check out THIS video or THIS one.

I stamped the banner and snowflake from the Holiday Banners Stamp Set on vellum using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the image with gold embossing powder. After heat set, I cut out the design with scissors.

I die cut watercolor cardstock using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the snowflake from the Holiday Banners Stamp Set on the rectangle using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder. I pressed Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink on the Ranger Craft Sheet, spritzed them with water and pressed a scrap of acetate to the ink and pressed it to the embossed watercolor panel.

Once the ink dried, I stapled the vellum embossed banner to the watercolor panel with mint satin ribbon behind the banner and embellished the panel with gold sprinkles and mini pearls.

Lawn Fawn | Let's Bokeh Stamps "Cheers" Card

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the Let's Bokeh Stamp Set and coordinating Let's Bokeh Dies. I love the look of bokeh backgrounds. I combined just two ink colors (using first and second generation stamping with the green) for this one layer card.

I stamped the solid circles from the Let's Bokeh Stamp Set on a Top Fold Card using LF Noble Fir Ink and Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. Using both first and second generation stamping gives the illusion of two colors of green ink and adds variety to the background. Green and gold is one of my favorite color combinations for holiday. I stamped the greeting with LF Black Licorice Ink.

I finished the card with Pretty Pink Posh Gold Confetti and 4mm Gold Metallic Sequins. I rounded all four corners with the 1/2" corner rounder.
