Welcome the reader to the Hero Arts Launch Party Blog Hop!
Today I have a Christmas themed card to share using the awesome "ink smooshing" technique. I used the Hero Arts Pen & Ink Christmas Tree Stamp for the watercolor resist background and finished with a stamped and embossed greeting and confetti in gold using the Hero Arts Joy To The World Stamps.
The Hero Arts Pen & Ink Christmas Tree Stamp was stamped on watercolor cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used the "ink smooshing" technique with Bundled Sage Distress Ink, Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to create an embossed resist background for the tree.
Once the watercolored background was completely dry I heat embossed greetings and confetti from the Hero Arts Joy To The World Stamp Set with gold embossing powder.
I trimmed the panel down to approximately 4" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to a card base using foam adhesive.
I finished the card with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.
