Today Simon Says Stamp has released yet another incredible collaboration stamp and die collection, this time from Wplus9! The brand new Band Camp Stamps and Dies. I combined these new stamps with a die cut Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 3 die and some sequins for a clean and simple birthday greeting card.
I created a line of cute band kids by stamping the images from the Band Camp Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. This is a great ink of Copic Coloring as it won't bleed with the alcohol ink markers. I colored in the images with Copic Markers (the individual marker colors are linked below with thumbnails in supplies and listed in the upper left corner of the screen in the how to video).
The detailing was added to the eyes and images with the Sakura Black Glaze Pen, White Glaze Pen and Stardust Glitter Pen.
I adhered the white panel to an A2 Side Fold Scored Card Base using foam adhesive.
For the greeting border, I die cut a stitched border from Soft Navy Cardstock using a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border 3 Die. I stamped one of the greetings from the Band Camp Stamp Set on the strip with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
A scattering of Pretty Pink Posh silver metallic 4mm sequins and silver star sequins finishes the design.
