Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week!
Today the Design Team is showcasing the new Winter Scripty Sayings Stamp Set and Scalloped Rectangle Stackables Dies. I combined these featured products with the new Toboggan Together Stamps and Dies, Stitched Hillside Borders, Large Stitched Rectangle Dies, and Snowy Backdrops Stamps. The scalloped die cut stackables work with the stitched rectangles and frame up the sweet penguin scene perfectly!
I die cut a rectangle using a Large Stitched Rectangle Die from watercolor cardstock and applied Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool to the rectangle. I stamped the snowy border from the Snowy Backdrops Stamps over the inked background using the Yeti Pigment Ink.
Next, I die cut another rectangle from smooth white cardstock and die cut two snow borders from the rectangle using the Stitched Hillside Borders. I stamped a greeting along one of the borders from the Winter Scripty Sayings Stamp Set using Black Licorice Ink. The two borders are adhered along the bottom of the inked background rectangle.
The penguins, hat, and snowballs is stamped from the Toboggan Together Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown along the bottom of the screen in the how to video tutorial. The tree is stamped with the Noble Fir Ink and all the images are die cut using the coordinating Toboggan Together Dies.
I adhered the imaged on the background, die cut a scalloped mat from black cardstock using a Scalloped Rectangle Stackables Die and adhered the whole panel to a side fold card base.
I applied Glossy Accents to the beaks and feet of the penguins and used the Sakura Black Glaze Pen for the eyes.
