I love the way the Twinkle Towns Stamp Set mixes and matches to create decorative ornaments or solid ones. So many ways to create beautiful holiday ornaments! I added a stamped town image to the stamped oranment and watercolored the image to bring it to life.
For the resist embossed background, I stamped the branch and the pine needles from the Twinkle Towns Stamp Set on watercolor cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder. I applied Evergreen Bough Distress Ink over the background using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. I spritzed the background with water and let it air dry.
While the background dried, I stamped the the ornament and town on a scrap of watercolor cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the image with white embossing powder. I colored in the image with a small paintbrush dampened with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink, Barn Door Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I colored in the top of the ornament with the Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen and die cut the image with the coordinating Twinkle Towns Die.
I adhered the ornament to the card with glue dots and added a thin line of Glossy Accent from the ornament to the branch and placed some silver twine along the line of glue. I tied a bow and secured it to the top of the string on the branch with a dab of glue.
I die cut the greetings from silver glitter cardstock using the Twinkle Towns Die and glued the greeting in place.
The card was finished with Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Clear Droplets, Sparkling Clear 4mm Sequins, and Sparkling Clear 6mm Sequins.
