Mama Elephant October Stampede Blog Hop | Blogging Buddies

I stamped the computer, keyboard, mouse, greetings and photo frames from the Blogging Buddies Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also stamped the cat, straws, and glass from the Purrfect Pals Stamp Set, the mouse from Ella & Friends and the bugs from Small Talk. I colored in the images with Copic Markers and die cut everything with the coordinating Blogging Buddies Dies, Purrfect Pals Dies, and Ella & Friends Dies.

For the background I die cut a rectangle from smooth white cardstock using the Index Card Creative Cuts Die Collection. I masked off part of the rectangle and applied Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to the top part of the background and Gathered Twigs Background Ink to the bottom using the Mini Ink Blending Tool.

I adhered the die cut pieces to the rectangle using foam adhesive.

I die cut the scalloped rectangle from from white cardstock using the Index Card Creative Cuts Die Collection and adhered the embellished rectangle to it. I trimmed down the long side of a side fold card base by 1/4" and adhered the rectangles using foam adhesive.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week | Winter Scripty Sayings + Scalloped Rectangles

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week!

Today the Design Team is showcasing the new Winter Scripty Sayings Stamp Set and Scalloped Rectangle Stackables Dies. I combined these featured products with the new Toboggan Together Stamps and Dies, Stitched Hillside Borders, Large Stitched Rectangle Dies, and Snowy Backdrops Stamps. The scalloped die cut stackables work with the stitched rectangles and frame up the sweet penguin scene perfectly!

I die cut a rectangle using a Large Stitched Rectangle Die from watercolor cardstock and applied Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool to the rectangle. I stamped the snowy border from the Snowy Backdrops Stamps over the inked background using the Yeti Pigment Ink. 

Next, I die cut another rectangle from smooth white cardstock and die cut two snow borders from the rectangle using the Stitched Hillside Borders. I stamped a greeting along one of the borders from the Winter Scripty Sayings Stamp Set using Black Licorice Ink. The two borders are adhered along the bottom of the inked background rectangle.

The penguins, hat, and snowballs is stamped from the Toboggan Together Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown along the bottom of the screen in the how to video tutorial. The tree is stamped with the Noble Fir Ink and all the images are die cut using the coordinating Toboggan Together Dies.

I adhered the imaged on the background, die cut a scalloped mat from black cardstock using a Scalloped Rectangle Stackables Die and adhered the whole panel to a side fold card base.

I applied Glossy Accents to the beaks and feet of the penguins and used the Sakura Black Glaze Pen for the eyes.

Simon Says Stamp Create Joy Blog Hop + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Create Joy Blog Hop!

The amazing Create Joy Release is full of amazing holiday themed stamps and dies perfect for all your Christmas and Winter paper crafting! I paired the new Ready, Set, Snow Stamp Set and coordinating dies with the Falling Snow Background Stamp and Wavy Scallop Border Dies.

I colored in the the images from the Ready, Set, Snow Stamp Set with bright reds so they would pop against the bright blue Distress Ink background. This card would be lovely to send during the holidays but could be used for many occasions throughout the winter months!

I applied Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to watercolor cardstock using Mini Ink Blending tools. I stamped the Falling Snow Background Stamp over the distress inked background with White Pigment Ink. I stamped the snowflake from the Ready, Set, Snow Stamp Set randomly on the background using the White Pigment Ink as well.

I die cut a border from smooth white cardstock to serve as the "snow" along the bottom edge of the card using a Wavy Scallop Border Die. I stamped the greeting, "Warm Winter Wishes" from the Ready, Set, Snow Stamp Set along the bottom edge of the card using Black Dye Ink.

I stamped the boy, girl and accessory images from the Ready, Set, Snow Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown along the bottom of the screen in the how to video. I die cut the images with the coordinating Ready, Set, Snow Dies and adhered the die cut pieces to the card background as shown.

I added detailing to the eyes with the Sakura Black Glaze Pen and glitter detail to the images with a Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen.

I finished the card with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Clear Droplets.

Pretty Pink Posh October Product Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October Release Blog Hop! 

Today I'm sharing a trio of holiday tags showcasing not only the awesome new Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Tag 1 Die but the amazing new Simon Says Stamp Christmas Cats Stamp Set and Dies. I used these products to create some holiday tags perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

I die cut the elements for the tags from Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Cardstock, Slate Cardstock, and Fog Cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Tag 1 Die.

The pieces for each tag are as follows:

  1. I die cut one solid red large tag for the back.
  2. Die cut both the large tag and oval tag from red cardstock for the frame.
  3. I die cut three ovals from the dark gray cardstock.
  4. I die cut one oval from the fog cardstock for the inside piece.
  5. The hole reinforcement was die cut from dark gray cardstock.

I stamped the cat and accessories from the Christmas Cats Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown in the how to video. I die cut the images with the coordinating Christmas Cats Dies.

I adhered the light gray cardstock to each red background tag, then I adhered the cat to the tag. I adhered the red frame over the front of the tag and then adhered the dark gray scallop oval frames one on top of another. I applied the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker over the gray frame for a bit of sparkle.

I adhered tiny, tiny clear gems around the frame and adhered the hole reinforcement at the top, threading some twine through the top to finish the tags.

I stamped greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Cats Stamp Set on the back of each tag using black ink. It's best to stamp any greetings on the tag back before putting the tags together.

I die cut the inlay background from the Dark Chocolate Cardstock and Pebbles Harvest 6x6 Patterned Papers included in the November Kit using the exclusive SSS Frames Dies. These pieces will create an inlay background.

I die cut the pumpkins and leaves from the Burnt Orange Cardstock and Green Leaf Cardstock included in the November Kit. I added depth and dimension to the die cuts using Rusty Hinge Distress Ink, Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, and Forest Moss Distress Ink using the Mini Ink Blending Tool.

On the woodgrain die cut rectangle, I stamped greetings from the Apple of My Pie Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed the greetings with white embossing powder. I stamped the little heart from the set on the smaller of the two pumpkins and embossed it in white as well.

Starting with the center rectangle, I created the inlay background on the side fold card base included in the kit. Then I adhered the pumpkin die cuts to finish the card design.

BIRD CRAZY HAPPY HALLOWEEN CARD

Happy Saturday! I've been dying to play with the Bird Crazy Stamp and Die Set, Crazy Things Stamp and Die Set, and Crazy Talk Stamp Set. I paired these fun products with a distress inked background and sparkly sequins. I love that these Bird Crazy can be adorned with the accessory stamps and dies for many holidays and occasions!

I stamped one of the birds from the Bird Crazy stamp set and the hat, broom, and jack-o-lantern images from the Crazy Things stamp set on smooth whtie cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images using the coordinating Bird Crazy Dies and Crazy Things Dies. I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the eyes and beak, the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the witch hat and Sakura Black Glaze Pen to the eyes, nose and mouth of the jack-o-lantern.

For the background I applied Blueprint Sketch and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks to watercolor cardstock and spritzed the background with water in a Mini Mister. Once dry I stamped a greeting with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink using the Crazy Talk Stamp Set. I stamped the Falling Stars Background Stamp over the background using Versamark Frost Ink.

I finished the card with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh silver star sequins and sparkling clear sequins.

Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends Card

The exclusive limited edition Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies are still available at Simon Says Stamp. I combined the sweet images with the Pretty Pink Posh Picket Fence Die and a Stitched Borders 1 Die for a cute hot air balloon scene. The little critter heads are the perfect size to hang over the edge of the fence.

I stamped the hot air balloon and critters from the Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers, then die cut the images with Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends Dies.

For the background, I die cut a rectangle from watercolor cardstock using the stitched rectangle from the Mama Elephant Basic Die Collection. I masked off the edges with post it tape and applied Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink with Mini Ink Blending Tools, then I added water using a Mini Mister and let the background air dry. 

I die cut another rectangle and used the rounded edge Stitched Borders 1 Die to create a landscape. I masked the edges again and applied Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. 

I adhered the landscape to the bottom of the background panel and then stamped the greetings from the Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat set the greetings with white embossing powder.

I die cut a fence from smooth white cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Picket Fence Die and adhered it to the panel and then adhered the images to the panel along with new Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Droplets, Blue Lagoon Sequins, and Ocean Spray Sequins.

Lawn Fawn October Video | Winter Alpacas In The Snow

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a new holiday card showcasing Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I just love the alpaca from the Winter Alpaca Stamp Set. I used the image on THIS tag and had to color it again for today's sweet winter-themed card. I paired the alpacas with the Snowy Backdrop Die, trees from Snow Day Stamp Set, and snowy borders from the Stitched Hillside Borders.

I created a background by die cutting smooth white cardstock with the Snowy Backdrop Die and adhered it over the Top Fold Card Base. I die cut another rectangle with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and then created snowy borders from the rectangle with the Stitched Hillside Borders dies. On the top snowy border I stamped the greetings from the Winter Alpaca Stamp Set using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink and Lobster Ink.

I stamped the alpaca from the Winter Alpaca Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers and die cut the images with the coordinating Winter Alpaca Die. Detail was added to the eyes with the Sakura Black Glaze Pen and white dots added to the cheeks with the Sakura White Gel Pen. 

The trees were stamped using the Snow Day Stamp Set with the Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Ink and and die cut with the coordinating Snow Day Dies. I adhered the images to the scene and finished by adding the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the scarfs. and scallops on the trees.
