Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh October Release Blog Hop!
Today I'm sharing a trio of holiday tags showcasing not only the awesome new Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Tag 1 Die but the amazing new Simon Says Stamp Christmas Cats Stamp Set and Dies. I used these products to create some holiday tags perfect for the upcoming holiday season!
I die cut the elements for the tags from Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Cardstock, Slate Cardstock, and Fog Cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Tag 1 Die.
The pieces for each tag are as follows:
- I die cut one solid red large tag for the back.
- Die cut both the large tag and oval tag from red cardstock for the frame.
- I die cut three ovals from the dark gray cardstock.
- I die cut one oval from the fog cardstock for the inside piece.
- The hole reinforcement was die cut from dark gray cardstock.
I stamped the cat and accessories from the Christmas Cats Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers. The individual marker colors are linked below in supplies and shown in the how to video. I die cut the images with the coordinating Christmas Cats Dies.
I adhered the light gray cardstock to each red background tag, then I adhered the cat to the tag. I adhered the red frame over the front of the tag and then adhered the dark gray scallop oval frames one on top of another. I applied the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker over the gray frame for a bit of sparkle.
I adhered tiny, tiny clear gems around the frame and adhered the hole reinforcement at the top, threading some twine through the top to finish the tags.
I stamped greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Cats Stamp Set on the back of each tag using black ink. It's best to stamp any greetings on the tag back before putting the tags together.
