Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new I Like You Stamp Set. I used the adorable mittens and one of the greetings from the stamp set to create this almost one-layer card. The bright mittens on the white background make for a fun winter-themed card.
I die cut a rectangle from smooth white cardstock using the All Prettied Up Die Collection. I masked off the edges from the stitching line to the scallop edge using post it tape. I stamped the greeting from the I Like You Stamp Set on the upper half of the rectangle using Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. I repeatedly stamped the mittens image and then removed the post it tape mask. I colored in the mittens with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. (The individual marker color numbers are shown along the bottom of the screen in the how to video and linked below to multiple sources in the supplies.) I added additional detail to the mittens with the Sakura White Gel Pen, Stardust Glitter Pen, and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker.
I stamped a scattering of the mini heart from the I Like You Stamp Set using Apple Pigment Ink, Tutti Frutti Pigment Ink, Lemongrass Pigment Ink, Fresh Mint Pigment Ink, and Stargazer Pigment Ink.
I adhered the panel to a top fold card base with foam adhesive to finish the card design.
