Welcome to the Lawn Fawn December Inspiration Week!
Lawn Fawn has some incredible new stamps and dies for their Valentine's Release that will be available for purchase a little later this week and each day the Design Team is showcasing the new products leading up to the release!
The new mini stamp set, Turn Me On featuring cute lightbulbs and a light switch that you can customize with the heart or sweet faces included in the stamp set. I stamped multiple lightbulbs and created a border with the greeting stamped underneath for my card share today.
*Please note that new Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and inks shown in this video might not yet be available for purchase. This post will be updated with appropriate links as soon as the new products are for sale. The December Release is now available!
To start, I stamped the lightbulbs and light switch from the Turn Me On Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink and colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Turn Me On Dies. I added detail to the lightbulbs with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker and Glossy Accents. I added detail to the light switch with the Sakura White Gel Pen.
I die cut one edge of the white cardstock strip using a Stitched Border Die. I stamped the greeting from the Turn Me On Stamp Set using the Black Licorice Ink. I trimmed the strip down to fit the die cut colored images and then added detail to the other side with theStitched Border Die. I adhered the die cut images to the border.
I die cut scalloped borders to place above and below the border from Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red Cardstock using the Stitched Scalloped Border Dies.
For the pink and red argyle background, I used the MISTI to precisely line up the Argyle Backdrops border stamp and stamped a panel of white cardstock with the solid argyle border using the Plastic Flamingo Ink. I stamped the dashed border with Lobster Red Ink. I layered the strip over the background and mounted the whole panel on a Simon Says Stamp Side Fold Card Base.
