My first card shares using the January Kit features only products from the kit with the new Heart Banner Die, some Versamark Ink and white embossing powder! I was able to get two cards from a single design by flip flopping the top and bottom cardstock panels. I love when I can quickly creae more than one card from the same supplies!
To create the inlay backgrounds for my cards, I first trimmed the Blue Violet Cardstock and Smoke Cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" (standard A2 sized cards fronts). Then I die cut the Heart Banner Die from each cardstock panel. I discarded the actual Heart Banner and hearts, however you could keep these pieces for even more cards if you wanted to! From the white cardstock in the kit, I die cut the Heart Banner Die and kept the heart outline. From three of the Doodlebug Polar Pals patterned papers from the kit, I die cut the banner again, this time keeping the inside heart pieces.
Once all the elements were die cut, I grabbed the top panels of the card, one blue violet cardstock panel and one smoke gray panel and stamped greetings and images from the Cute Snowflakes Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I stamped a few remaining snowflake images on the bottom panels to finish the design.
I trimmed an 1/8" off the sides and straight edge on the top or bottom of the panel pieces. This will leave me with a nice border all the way around the inlay design.
To put it all together, I started with the Simon Says Stamp Side Fold Card Base and adhered the bottom panel to the card base. Next I glued the outline heart banner in place and then the top cardstock panel. I finished each by adhering the patterned paper hearts inside the heart banner and applying some of the Doodlebug Lily White Glitter Sprinkles.

Love your way of making 2 cards at the same time. I confess I keep lots of die cut "insides" to use on other cards. I have trouble throwing anything away. Thanks Nicole
