The Lawn Fawn CHA Sneak Week is here! Whoohoo! This year's release is sooooooooooo amazing!
Let's start off with one of my favorites who am I kidding they are all my new favorites, the *Loads of Fun Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I combined these cute images for an adorable laundry scene birthday card with lots of pinks and reds, perfect for a February birthday right? A soft pink Distress Inked background with subtle stenciling and a bold greeting stamped with bright, fun Lawn Fawn Inks makes for a super soft and pretty card. Don't need a birthday card? There are sentiments for missing you, love, and anytime as well! I love versatile stamp sets that work for a multitude of occasions!
*Please remember that this is the Sneak Week, meaning the new products shown are not yet available for purchase. As soon as they start hitting stores I will be updating all the Sneak Week posts and videos with shoppings links. Yay!
I stamped the images from the *Lawn Fawn Loads of Fun Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating *Loads of Fun Dies and set them aside while I worked on the background.
I trimmed a strip from watercolor cardstock measuring 3" x 5.5". I added a decorative border to the top and bottom using a Stitched Border Die. I applied the Spun Sugar Distress Ink to the bottom half of the strip as shown and then applied ink through the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Spaced Hearts Stencil for a lovely layered background look.
I adhered the stamped, colored, and die cut images to the strip and stamped the greeting from the *Loads of Fun Stamp Set using Lobster Ink and Plastic Flamingo Ink.
I added a design to the t-shirt with a white gel pen and applied Glossy Accents to the soap bubbles and the buttons on the washing machine and set the piece aside to dry.
For the 4.25" x 5.5" watercolor background, I applied Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and then spritzed the panel with water from the Distress Sprayer. I let the water sit for about 30 seconds and then dabbed it up with a dry paper towel. I let the panel completely dry, then adhered the decorative strip with foam adhesive before adhering the whole thing to a side fold card base.
