The Lawn Fawn CHA Sneak Week is here!
What do the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, and the Kraken have in common? They are all loveable legends. I think this new *Loveable Legends Stamp Set and coordinating dies from Lawn Fawn are so much fun! I created a water scene birthday card for Nessie here today with greetings both on the front and inside of the card. Of course no card is complete lately without some Distress Inking and spritzing from the Distress Sprayer. Get one. You won't regret it. (wink, wink!)

I stamped the Nessie and the party hat from the *Loveable Legends Stamp Seton smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers before die cutting with the coordinating *Loveable Legends Dies.
To create the background, I die cut two rectangles from watercolor cardstock using the largest die from the Small Stitched Rectangles Die Collection. From one of the rectangles I die cut a border using one of the Ocean Wave Borders Dies. I die cut another rectangle from vellum and die cut another wave border from it.
On the watercolor cardstock wave border I applied Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. On the background rectangle I applied Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks. I spritzed both layers with water from the Distress Sprayer, let the water sit for approximately 30-45 seconds and then dabbed the paper with a dry paper towel revealing the great distressing.
On the vellum water layer I stamped greetings from the *Loveable Legends Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
Once the layers were dry I adhered the water border along the bottom of the rectangle and topped the background with the greeting stamped vellum water border. I tucked Nessie into the water and finished with the party hat.
I stamped a the water "splash" from the *Loveable Legends Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Fish Tank Ink. I finished the front of the card with the Pretty Pink Posh 6mm and 4mm Clear Droplets.
On the inside of the card I stamped another greeting using the Fish Tank Ink to complete this legendary birthday card design.
