The Lawn Fawn CHA Sneak Week is here!
Today I'm sharing a 3-dimensional project showcasing the latest in Lawn Fawn's amazing dimensional gift packaging dies, the *Tote Bag Die, die cut with the fabulous new *Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper. This *Tote Bag Die is such an adorable addition to the Lawn Fawn die collection, perfect for creating mini gift bags for any holiday or occasion! The plaid papers from the *Perfectly Plaid collection are perfect for all your springtime projects and beyond. I added a grassy border and a chick and eggs to my *Tote Bag for an Easter gift bag design.
*Please remember that this is the Sneak Week, meaning the new products shown are not yet available for purchase. As soon as they start hitting stores I will be updating all the Sneak Week posts and videos with shoppings links. Yay!
To create this tote bag, I die cut the *Tote Bag Die from two matching sheets of *Perfectly Plaid 6x6 patterned paper. From these two die cut pieces, I assembled the tote bag using a nice strong adhesive. I like the Glue Glider Pro PermaTac adhesive.
I die cut a green "grass" border from Simon Says Stamp Green Apple Cardstock using a new *Simple Stitched Hillside Borders Die. On the border I stamped greetings from the *Chirpy Chirp Chirp Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the sentiments with white embossing powder. I adhered the border along the bottom edge of the front of the bag and trimmed off the excess on both sides.
I stamped the chick and cracked egg from the *Chirpy Chirp Chirp Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and fussy cut the images to adhere to the tote bag front. I added detail to the egg with a white gel pen and added detail to the chick's eyes with the Sakura Black Glaze Pen and I added detail to the beak with Glossy Accents.
I tied yellow silk ribbon to the handles on the tote bag to finish the design.
