I'm so honored to be hopping along with Reverse Confetti today celebrating an incredible middle of release showcasing the Bag Confetti Cuts Dies and Bow Tie Confetti Dies. These new dies make wonderful inserts and decoration for the plastic gift bags. These bags are great for any occasion or holiday depending on how you decorate them!
To create the bags, I die cut the Reverse Confetti Bag Confetti Die from watercolor cardstock. I trimmed another piece of watercolor cardstock to fit the back of the bag. For the pink bag, I applied Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Ink to the pieces. For the red bag, I applied the new Candied Apple Distress Ink. I applied more ink through the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Stencil and then spritzed the pieces with water from the Distress Sprayer. After letting the water sit and react with the Distress Inks for about 30 seconds I blotted the pieces dry with a paper towel.
I masked off the front portion of the bag panel and then repeatedly stamped the "hugs & kisses" greeting from the Fancy Word Coordinates Stamp Set. I adhered the back panel to the bottom of the bag piece and slipped it inside the plastic bag, then filled the bag with chocolates.
For the bow and tag I die cut all the elements from watercolor cardstock using the Bag Confetti Cuts and Bow Tie Confetti Cuts Dies and colored them like I did the bag insert. On the tag, I stamped the greeting again this time with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Dye Ink. I added a stamped heart form the Fancy Word Coordinates Stamp Set to finish the greeting. I assembled the bow and added a button to the center, attached all the elements to the treat bag with medium zots glue dots.
